In short, a lot of what has been written of Liverpool and its Irish influence etc has all been written about...........mainly boring academic texts which give no real insight into the day to day life of Irish people in this city, both past and present.......

I hope my blog will add something extra to what it means to be Liverpool Irish today.........and lets get it straight from the start, 'Liverpool Irish' is an identity that can be shared by those born in Ireland who now live in this city and obviously those born in Liverpool (or else where) who maybe be 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation Irish....................
